Venice High School in the News!

Venice HS climate actions were spotlighted in the article, “5 Ways To Use Ed Tech For Social Good” written by Dr. Jennifer Williams, co-founder of the Climate Action Project and mentions LAUSD’s efforts on Climate Literacy.
This is on the ISTE website at https://www.iste.org/explore/personalized-learning/5-ways-use-edtech-social-good

ISTE is the International Society for Technology in Education. With our participation in the annual  Climate Action Project, we also hit upon 2 of the ISTE standards for students: Global Collaborator and Digital Citizen. LAUSD is fully invested in ISTE through our ITI department and even has myPLN courses available that go over their standards. So many ways to incorporate climate literacy and still hit a wide span of standards.
