VHS SAS Description
Venice High School is the right choice for non-magnet students who want to focus on academics while also exploring athletic, creative, and/or social interests. Venice High School offers a plethora of Advanced Placement classes, numerous electives, has a large sports program, and gives students the opportunity to join a range of clubs.
Venice High School is also the right place for students who want to experience all of the aspects of a traditional American high school which includes attending the Homecoming Game and Dance, the Prom, and Grad Night at Disneyland.
9th graders, enter the SAS by enrolling in honors classes such as Honors English and Math. Sophomore year, students start enrolling in Advanced Placement (AP) classes such as AP World History.
Well-rounded Venice High students who have taken advantage of our wide range of available extracurricular activities while enrolled in AP and Honors classes, routinely earn places at schools such as Stanford, UC Berkeley, MIT and UCLA.
