Here at Venice, we have a variety of tutoring resources available for free to all our students.
 

Homework Hub

Homework Hub is open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday after school in the Library until 5:15pm. We offer in-person tutoring from Venice teachers in math, science, English and Spanish, as well as support with organization and study skills. Homework Hub also provides space for students to study quietly or collaborate on a group project. The schedule of tutors is as follows:
  • Mondays - Ms. Oh for Math, Ms. Franco for English and Ms. Perez for West LA College Dual Enrollment Support
  • Wednesdays - Ms. Gruen for Math and Mr. Terrazas for Science
  • Thursdays - Ms. Gruen for Math and Dr. Fajardo for English/español bilingual support

Tutor.tom has contracted with LAUSD to offer live 24/7 chat-based tutoring to all students. This can be accessed through any Schoology course. Tutoring is available in a wide variety of subjects, including College Board test preparation courses. Students can connect to tutors on demand, or they can schedule a future tutoring session that matches their availability. For more information:
 


Peer Tutoring Club

Peer Tutoring Club meets Thursdays at lunch in Room 16-214, sponsored by Mr. Liang. Junior and Senior students are available for tutoring in a variety of subjects.
 
 

Teacher Office Hours

Many of our teachers offer office hours at nutrition, lunch, after school or by appointment. Please reach out to your teacher directly for their specific office hours information.
 
 

Home-based Tutoring
