Hello Parents & Caretakers!
My name is Charlie Styrbicki and I am excited to be your student's math teacher this year! I earned my secondary math teaching credential through UCLA's Teaching Education Program in January of 2024. I am excited to be part of the Venice family!
Teaching has always been a passion of mine since working as a camp counselor at age 16! From working to camp to coaching volleyball, I have always enjoyed teaching and mentorship opportunities.
I am a native Minnesotan who moved to California in 2021 after almost three years working in Corporate Finance. I graduated from the University of Minnesota (go Gophers!) with a Finance major and Mathematics minor. Outside of teaching, I am the Venice Beach Volleyball coach and teach Cardio Dance classes at local gyms. My favorite food is Korean, my favorite music genre is hard rock (Linkin Park), and my favorite people are my mom and two younger sisters.
