I am the Lead Teacher for the Sports Medicine Academy at Venice High School, where I also teach AP World History, AP Human Geography, and Modern World History. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Sciences with a major in Political Science, a certificate in Middle Eastern Studies, and a minor in Film. Additionally, I have a Master’s in Education from the University of Southern California and a teaching credential in Social Studies and English, along with a micro-credential in Social Emotional Learning.

Originally from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, I moved to the United States as a child and learned English as my second language. My personal journey has given me a unique perspective and empathy for students who are adjusting to new cultures and languages. Before transitioning into education, I worked in the entertainment industry, which has enriched my approach to teaching by integrating real-world experiences into the classroom. I am passionate about creating a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that supports all students in their educational journey.
