Welcome to Government and Economics!
Hello my Wonderful Students and Gondo Families!
I am in my third year at Venice and I am currently teaching Government/Economics, AP Government/Honors Economics, and AP Comparative Government/International Relations. I love teaching here at Venice because I love to see the dedication that students have for growth and learning.
As a WLGS teacher, I incorporate our yearly Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) into our classroom learning, this year’s SDG of focus is SDG #13: Climate Action. This classroom takes a Project Based Learning (PBL) approach. What this means is that learning is largely guided through group projects. There are several large projects to complete each semester and that align with the state and/or AP standards to prepare your students to be civically engaged citizens. Several of our projects will align with SDG #13.
