Welcome to Government!

Hello my Wonderful Students and Gondo Families!

I am in my second year here at Venice and I am currently teaching Government/Economics and AP Government/Honors Economics. I love teaching here at Venice because I love to see the dedication that students have for growth and learning.

As a WLGS teacher, I also work to incorporate our yearly Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) into our classroom learning, this year’s SDG of focus is SDG #16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions. This classroom takes a Project Based Learning (PBL) approach. What this means is that learning is largely guided through group projects. There are several large projects to complete each semester and that align with the state and/or AP standards to prepare your students to be civically engaged citizens. Several of our projects will align with SDG #16.
